WTC #10
Kings Cross Track Club with Voltron
rom Utrecht to Sydney, Kevin and Wiebke connect with Ben Dwyer aka Voltron from Kings Cross Track Club for the first episode in a new series spotlighting running crews around the world.
Kings Cross Track Club started in Sydney in 2015, inspired by the global running crew movement and shaped by the energy of the city’s Kings Cross area. What began as a social running group has grown into a community built around running, creativity, inclusivity, local connection, and shared values.
Ben talks about the story behind the crew, how they organize their weekly runs, and why running crews are about much more than just running. The conversation also touches on building a welcoming community, creating space for different paces and backgrounds, running during COVID, connecting with other crews around the world, and the crew’s experiences with The Speed Project and TSP DIY.
A great conversation about community, culture, and how running can connect people across cities, countries, and continents.
